Kieran at the Zoo, the one that started it all! We were just goofing around with me taking pictures and him hiding. And I got this great shot. Who knew?
Then I got this great shot of Shaddy at Mavericks beach. It was sort of posed, in that he asked me to take his picture. He was already sitting on the rock, so I told him to look at me and this is what I got.
Now, this particular person is Mr. Unphotogenic himself. I have taken at least 50 photos of him, trying to get a good shot. I finally got this nice one at the beach. Still a little cheesy, but not too bad. Tal has about a 2 minute window of getting a good picture, then it degenerates into giggles and strange faces.
Then there is this guy. Alric is quite photogenic and really cute to boot, but he usually has a nuk in his mouth. Not so photogenic! He recently has started removing it at the beach as it always seems to get covered in sand. Hmmm...so if we stayed at the beach all the time, maybe we could get rid of the nuk! He dressed himself in Kieran's sweatshirt on this particular day, but really who cares?
I have been totally unable to get a picture of the 4 of them together, but I have gotten some nice shots of 2s so that will have to do for now!
I am very fond of this shot. My big boys on the road of life together. This was walking back from Mavericks beach. For some reason they never got out of their school uniforms before we went to the beach. It did make for a nice shot though.
And my little boys digging in the sand. There are even some really nice waves in the background. Love, love, love beach photography.
Now I have to get off my lazy (cheap) behind and get a family picture taken. I can't really take that myself though, so will have to actually employ a photographer! There are several beach photographers here, but they are all very expensive. Bleah! I'm kind of tired of the standard studio family portrait though, so maybe I will just have to save my pennies.
Lovely photos, as usual! Poor Tal takes after his Granny. Photos of me usually look awful. Andrew has taken some nice ones of me, probably because I'm relaxed around him, and he usually gets a shot when I'm doing something I'm really enjoying! But that's a nice shot of Tal.
ReplyDeleteI like that shot of Shaddy looking over his shoulder at you, and the one of the two boys walking together. I had the same thought about the road of life when I saw it.
Of course, Alric and Kieran are cute personified! If you could put it in a bottle and sell cuteness, you could make a million with those two! :D
